Technological Breakthrough
The technology that I’ve chosen that is ubiquitous and was developed before I was born is the very first telephone. The telephone is clearly not digital and was first invented in March 10, 1876, by Alexander Graham Bell.
How it was discovered?
Alexander the inventor created the telephone with many years of experimenting such as using sound waves. The idea that made him come up with this concept was the phonautograph that he had invented himself which would draw sound waves which then generated electrical currents which incorporated with the sound wave. He thought of this which was possible and it was, you can than project voices the same way telegraphs transitted.
How it developed for commercial production?
The telephone was created to help allow other people to talk to others from far distances. Slowly after this through time technology upgraded creating phones, cell phones, wireless telephones, Blackberrys, iPhones, and many other categories of phones. With this being said from the year of the 1800s you can see through time how much the telephone has evolved. The telephone has turned into something huge and is continually very popular into today’s society.
The telephone has developed into commercial products and has made a huge impact in today’s society. In 1878 this is when the first telephone was sold and here on out there have been many telephones, and cell phone that have been sold. You can see throughout the years the amount and the increase in cell phones that have been sold out in the market is currently always increasing.
As technology is always evolving and always improving you can see the dramatic changes that have occurred over time. The difference in time and how the telephone has evolved into the cellphone and how this small product has turned into one of the most important things in our lives. Staying connected and keeping in contact is an important thing in life and Alexander created the telephone which has become one of the most popular things used in everyday life.
